Reviews By June P from Hempstead, NY Posted May 4, 2010   I’ve been purchasing flooring from, and recommending Nahas Rugs for almost 40 years. The quality, reliability and service were excellent. My last two dealings with them changed all that. Installations were delayed and unbelievably dumb excuses made after I called them. The installers blamed the sales staff and the staff ‘couldn’t find’ the installers. I called today at 10:45 to find out when my 9 am installation would occur. After hearing ‘couldn’t find my keys, got locked out of the store, can’t find the installers’, I was promised 1 pm. Thank goodness for the installers. They’ve all done excellent work. If you’re in the store and witness an irate customer complaining, as I did, it’s not a difficult customer, as I was told. It’s a shame that a business that was so good for such a long time has disintegrated after changing generations.
